I am Carry Porter – a climber, photographer, motorcycle rider, cyclist, and salad-lover. My husband and I got inspired in 2009 by the research done by Dr. Furhman and his contemporaries. We adopted a whole-foods, plant-based diet, which means we eat lots of vegetables, fruit, beans, whole grains, and nuts/seeds. We avoid oil, salt, sugar (and other refined carbohydrates), and dairy. My husband’s allergies and asthma are gone and our health has never been better!
Friends have told me they are inspired by how we eat and want me to publish a cookbook. I’m considering it, and enjoy posting recipes on this blog in the meantime.
